Terms and Conditions for Your Care Plan (12-Month Contract)
What We Can Look After
We currently have four care plan packages:

Cover Agreement
All our agreements operate as 12-month fixed contracts, which commence 15 days following the date you first applied, provided your initial inspection has been completed and passed. There is a 30-day cooling-off period during which you are not covered and may cancel for a full refund if no inspection or work has been carried out. Payments of £25 per month will be collected by Direct Debit for the duration of the 12-month contract. An initial setup and inspection fee of £149 is payable upon joining. Early cancellation within the 12-month period is not permitted except in exceptional circumstances.
Renewals
Your care plan will automatically renew for another 12-month term unless you notify us in writing at least 30 days before renewal. We will notify you before renewal and include your updated Terms & Conditions.
Central Heating and Plumbing Care Plan V1
The Plumbing Care Plan costs from just £25/month which includes a FREE system health check. Care plan is provided by us, your local and trusted company. All our engineers are fully trained, qualified and DBS checked, giving you peace of mind knowing your heating system is in the best hands.
Our Agreement Covers:
- Repairs to your hot water storage tank including valves and floats.
- Repairs in the event of breakdown of a single gas boiler within your home.
- Repairs or replacement of external heating controls including thermostat, programmer, and pump.
- Parts and labour (boiler under 18 years old and passes inspection).
- Internal central heating pipework.
- FREE annual boiler service and system health check.
- Repairs to gas supply pipework between your gas meter and appliance.
- Removal of sludge and scale where applicable.
- Boiler replacement under qualifying terms.
- Repairs to underfloor heating controls.
- Vented/unvented hot water cylinders and immersion elements.
- Hot/cold pipework to taps and garden taps (excluding stopcock).
- Unblocking internal wastes and rainwater downpipes.
- Repairs to washing machine/dishwasher valves.
- Tap washer and waste trap replacement.
- Tap/shower replacements (non-electric units).
- Each breakdown incurs a £55 excess charge.
General Conditions and Exclusions
Complaints: Contact info@gammaheating.co.uk for any concerns.
Domestic Use: For residential appliances only; landlords may request CP12 checks at extra cost.
Price Changes: Fixed for 12 months.
Internet Controls: Not covered unless within manufacturer warranty.
Responsibilities: We’ll meet obligations unless prevented by external factors.
Initial Inspection: Required before cover starts. If issues are found, we may quote for remedial work or refuse cover until fixed.
Emergencies: Severity determines response time, prioritised in colder months.
Ownership: Re-inspection not needed if done within 12 months.
Annual Service: Conducted yearly where possible.
Access: It’s your responsibility to allow entry. Missed appointments may affect cover. Third visit charged at £82.50+VAT.
Magnetic Filters & Scale Reducers: Maintained and cleaned as part of service where accessible.
Powerflush: Charged at £35+VAT per radiator/appliance if required. Future work included thereafter.
Cancellation:
You may cancel within 30 days of joining for a full refund if no inspection/work done. After that, agreement is binding for 12 months. GPHE may cancel for non-payment, false info, or unsafe systems. Written notice and pro-rata refund provided where applicable.
Other Terms:
GPHE may cancel for safety, unavailability of parts, or regulatory issues. We’ll notify you if improvements are required for safety compliance. Labour performed by GPHE or authorised contractors. Spare parts typically available within one working day.
Guarantees: All parts & labour guaranteed 12 months from repair date. Appointments: AM (8-12) or PM (12-6). We can call an hour before arrival. Payments: Direct Debit for plans; repairs payable via BACS, card, or cash. Moving Home: Transfer available (£30+VAT inspection fee).
Governing Law: Agreement governed by the laws of England & Wales.
Exclusions:
We won’t cover pre-existing faults, accidental or third-party damage, or decorative repairs. Standard radiators supplied where needed. Excludes internet faults, design errors, asbestos, lead/steel pipework, and underground drains. Damage from freezing, flooding, fire, lightning, or storm should be claimed under home insurance.
